Guess who’s back! Yep, Major! We’re beyond excited to announce that we have been chosen in the Kirklees Top 100 Businesses list for 2024/25. Marking our fifth consecutive year of being recognised…Not that we’re counting or anything?!

If you didn’t know, shame on you. However, don’t worry we’ll explain it for you. The Kirklees Top 100 was created to celebrate the top-performing businesses in the Kirklees region of West Yorkshire. Each year it highlights companies across various sectors based on various criteria such as turnover, profitability and growth. The top 100 is designed to highlight each companies economic impact and contribution to their local community.
Being named in this list is a massive achievement. It gives companies significant visibility and acknowledgment for their success and contributions to the local economy. We’re proud to say that Major has been on every single edition since its inception – that’s five out of five!

What a Day!
To mark this fantastic achievement, Laura, Amanda, and Noreen from our Yorkshire teams attended the announcement day at Huddersfield FC. It was an inspiring event where local business leaders came together to celebrate the successes of the Kirklees business community. It was a moment of pride for our team to see Major recognised among the top-performing businesses in the region.
We met some amazing people at the event and would love to celebrate every company that made the list. We’d also like to congratulate UK Greetings, Oxalis Logistics and Thorton & Ross for topping the list, the highest climber Flexitallic and PPG Architectural Coatings for their consistent growth.
What’s next?
Six, right? Of course, being included in the top 100…AGAIN, is not just a reflection on our past successes but a springboard for the future. Our goal is to continue innovating, growing, and aiming even higher! We are excited to embark on new projects, forge stronger partnerships, and keep climbing the ranks in the years to come.
