Warehouse operative with PPT Licence

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative with PPT experience for our client in Leyland PR25 area,

This position is a temp to perm position strong employment history is essential

We are currently working with a world leading manufacturing company, that are looking to expand they’re good’s in and good’s out teams.

duties will include but not limited to:

Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
Despatch order checking against warehouse SAP documentation and accuracy in completion of all warehouse paperwork
Picking and Put away – allocation and distribution of Finish Goods
Safe operation of the Warehouse pallet movement systems
Reach, Counterbalance FLT and Powered Pallet Truck experience (desirable but full training will be given)
Palletising Operations
Daily Set up of machines to start the production cycle
Feeding materials / pallets to semi-automated machines
Responsible for housekeeping within their area (clean as you go)
Good understanding of food safety culture
Ability to work in a physical, chilled environment with activities to include bending, lifting and basic manual handling.

Shift pattern – Rotating Double Day Shift 05:35-14.05 / 13:45-22:15 (Mon – Fri)
Annual salary starting from £23,907 (£12.26 per hour) dependent upon experience, rising to £25,350 (£13.00 per hour) with training and skills development
Opportunities for overtime at 1.5x hourly rate (minimum £17.55 per hour) or 2x hourly rate (minimum £23.40 per hour) on Sundays
33 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) which increases with service
Salary sacrifice Pension scheme (3% employee contribution, 6% employer contribution)
Free Life Assurance at 4 times basic annual salary
