DNA Recruitment Solutions are seeking a proven, dynamic Business Development Manager to join our client’s team in Manchester. You will be responsible for driving growth and building strong, lasting relationships with new clients, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing clients.
The Role
- Create and carry out strategic business development plans in line with company objectives.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Build rapport and trust with potential new clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and pursue leads.
- Carry out market research and identify trends, analyse and understand relevant data.
- Prepare and deliver effective pitches to prospective clients.
- Negotiate deals in line with sales targets.
- Effectively utilise IT and software such as Salesforce to ensure accurate records.
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering results in a Business Development or Sales role.
- Understanding of industry trends.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and best practices for implementing them.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective negotiator, able to close a deal.
- Experience in FMCG – ideally with cosmetics or personal care.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Strong IT skills, experience with Salesforce or similar would be beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business admin or related field desirable.
