We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller of Site Safety to join our clients team on an ad-hoc basis. As the Controller of Site Safety, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety protocols and procedures are followed at our construction sites.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Controller of Site Safety or similar role in the construction industry.
– In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
– Certification in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
- Implement safety measures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide safety training to site personnel and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Communicate effectively with site managers, contractors, and workers to promote a culture of safety.
- Monitor and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the safety team to develop safety plans and initiatives.
