With increased requirements for the first quarter of 2020, there was a need for 20 additional team members. They wanted to utilise a temporary to permanent approach in recruitment. Due to a constant workload it would have been almost impossible to integrate new employees without causing disruption. It was essential that temporary recruits got the same opportunities to succeed and felt as valued as full-time colleagues.
Creating a Major partnership
Austin Hayes chose to partner with Major, helping them with an innovative recruitment process. To recruit temporary and permanent staff for their Warehouse and Production sectors. From day one, we worked closely, in a very honest and open relationship. We discussed their requirements in great detail to assure we found the right people.
We visited the organisation to experience first-hand the roles which needed placing. It helped get a better understanding of what potential candidates would be undertaking. This process showed us what would be expected and what type of person would suit the roles best.
Over several weeks – with an open line of communication and numerous site visits – we recruited the required volume of staff. The on-boarding process of Austin Hayes, was key to it’s success. It really showcases what an exceptional company Austin Hayes are to work alongside, and for the staff we place there. They treat all their staff with utmost respect and dignity. All staff know that they can reach their full potential by applying themselves and working hard.
