AV Project Engineer
Location – Crawley (1-2 days a week MAX) / WFH and site visits
Permanent full time role Monday to Friday

Working within the engineering team, this role involves working closely with the wider Systems Integration team to ensure the successful delivery of our consultancy and installation projects.
This role would suit an individual with technical experience.
In this role, you will deliver projects to specification and to the client’s satisfaction. The role will also involve working closely with the Business Development team in the development of system solutions and technical proposals. Good time management and planning skills are essential to ensure deliverables are produced on time and projects are delivered on budget. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with the wider SI team.
Duties:
* Lead the delivery of all technical elements of a project from the initial handover to project completion.
* Coordinate all project deliverables in line with the project schedule and in collaboration with all project stakeholders. This may include but is not limited to hardware layouts, system schematics, rack layouts, rigging drawings and projection studies. Drawings will be produced using AutoCAD.
* Performing site surveys to gather all information required to develop or assess a technical solution. * Validate design and tender information to ensure it meets the client’s intended functionality.
* Manage the bill of materials ensuring all changes are logged appropriately and coordinated with the rest of the project team.
* Carry out site surveys to fully understand the scope of the project and potential limitations in advance of the installation.
* Coordinate with project managers, logistics and the delivery team regarding project status.
* Support the delivery of technical proposals for the Business Development Team and consultancy projects from the initial client discussions to handover.
* Support the wider engineering team with engineering projects and deliverables.
* Help develop and improve the company’s internal processes by reporting corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.
