Job Opportunity: Class 2 Driver
Major Logistics is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for a well-established manufacturing and distribution company based in the Leeds area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company with the potential for a permanent position in the future.
Position Details:
- Role: Class 2 Driver
- Location: Leeds area
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent role
Agency Pay Rate:
- £14.00 per hour PAYE (plus holiday accrual)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles
- Delivering palletised goods and handballing smaller packaged items
- Completing between 8-18 deliveries per day, depending on client requirements and delivery area
- Ensuring timely and safe deliveries to customers
Working Hours:
- Cover required 4-5 days per week, Monday to Friday
- Start times typically between 05:30 – 07:30 (varied)
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) Licence
- Current CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph (Digi Card)
- A minimum of 3 months Class 2 experience is required
