To join an established business as a Finance Assistant overseeing credit control, purchase invoices, sales invoices, payroll, and expense processing. Reporting into the department Manager and directly to the Managing Directors this could be a perfect opportunity for you.
What you’ll be doing as a Finance Assistant but not limited to;
- Credit Control; Managing outstanding payments, sending reminders, and liaising with customers
- Purchase Invoices; Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate payments
- Sales Invoices; Issuing invoices and managing accounts receivable
- Payroll Support; Assisting with payroll processing to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
- Expense Processing; Reviewing and verifying employee expense claims in line with company policies
- Recording of all transactions using Xero and sage
- General administrative tasks necessary to fulfil your role

Key Skills as a Finance Assistant
- Background in finance administration, payroll, and expense processing

- Ability to liaise confidently with suppliers, customers, and colleagues
- Proactive approach to financial queries and issues
