We are currently recruiting for ICP Analysist for our client in Aintree Area,
Previous experience with ICP is require, this is a chemicals manufacturer
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Disposal of laboratory samples in line Health and Safety procedures
- Chemical stock control and receiving of deliveries
- Assisting Chemists and Laboratory Technicians
- Maintain cleanliness of the working area
- Preparation and weighing of samples of various commodities from the mining industry.
- Routinely use standard laboratory equipment such as balances for sample weighing.
- Perform basic instrument maintenance and operation.
- Function as an integral part of the laboratory team.
- Follow in house techniques as trained.
- Maintain cleanliness of the working area
- Use IT for the recording of data and sample tracking within the laboratory.
- To store samples in accordance with the systems in place.
- Undertake other responsibilities as required by senior chemists
- Ensuring Health and safety procedures are met
Working hours-
8.30am-4.30pm
This role is a temp to perm after 12 weeks there is a chance for it to be a permanent position for the right cadidate
