Major Recruitment are looking to hire Warehouse Operatives at our client in Nottingham. This role involves working in a cold environment and requires the ability to get to the site for a 5:00 AM start. The position is contracted for 8-10 weeks, from October to the end of December, with the potential for a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wear correct PPE, including clothing, gloves, and shoes.
- Pick and pack palletised goods using printed orders.
- Comply with food and hygiene requirements
- Perform stock rotation, stock taking, and identify short-dated or damaged products.
- Assist Goods Inwards in receiving products as required, put stock away in the correct location within the department, and pick and collate orders accurately.
- Check products are labelled correctly from receipt (batch codes, etc.) through to dispatch (customer codes, order number).
- Organize product for dispatch accordingly at the end of the shift, ready for the loading crew the following morning; this includes verifying all orders processed for dispatch are on the correct pallets.
What We Are Looking For:
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
- Experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong level of English Speaking and Reading
Working Hours & Pay:
- 38 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 05:00 AM – 13:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
- 05:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Fridays)
- £12 per hour
